The Look: It’s an absolutely gorgeous shoe, sparkling in the light, only a single band across the toes and a crisscross on the instep and a zippered heel cup to finish. The heel is decently high, though only 4″, and there’s a nice platform.
The Fit: This one aspect makes me want to start up a company to make women’s shoes. Pretty shoes aren’t made to fit wider feet and certainly not when you add any to the heel. So, this is a half size up yet again. So toes don’t extend all the way and side views might show that the heel is a bit forward of the heel cup.
Comfort: While they don’t shine in the comfort arena, they do qualify for wearing all day. The practical height of the heel makes them good even for walking and my only minor complaint is that the crisscross on the instep presses a bit. I’m pretty sure I’ll have marks on the skin even from wearing an hour or so, let alone all day.
