The Look: Very nice if you like white satin sandals and with this brand of shoe, it’s also nice if you don’t. The Dyeables line are all dyeable. You pick your color (send them a swatch if you need precise) and they will match it and dye your shoes. It’s also quite affordable at around $20 per pair. I’ll probably leave mine white – I like extremes and have a lot of both white and black shoes. The point on the toe bothers me a little. I’ve come to accept points on the toe with pumps, but I prefer sandals to be more rounded. With a 3″ heel, they don’t quite have the class I really like.
The Fit: These are 6.5s and the box lists the width as ‘D’. The sole doesn’t have room for more foot, but the straps are maybe loose enough to accommodate more width than I’ve got. With 6.5, I usually only require a ‘C’. With the buckle tightened, there’s a fairly long tail I might want to deal with (either cutting and refinishing the end or adding a loop to hold it).
Comfort: A thin layer of memory foam under the toe box, the 3″ heel and the room within the straps, makes this an easy all day choice. It’s nice enough for formal events and comfortable enough for a day out shopping. Trying on dresses with these shoes reflected in the mirror…
