The Look: First the good. They’re green. It is, for some reason, hard to find shoes that are green. I also love the ankle strap and the open sides, especially the inner side. The pleated fabric on the toe box is also very nice. But, they’re peep-toe design and they have that silly bow.
The Fit: They’re pretty narrow for size 7 and I almost sent them back (but they’re green!) Looking at the shoe with no feet in them, you can see the sexy narrow ‘waist’ but wearing them, my feet actually hang over on both sides. The toe area is also a little snug.
Comfort: They’re not overly uncomfortable, but there are a couple reasons to beware of the places they’re worn. Definitely, it shouldn’t be a place where there is a lot of walking, or overly smooth flooring. This shoe has no traction. Couple that with a tight fit in the toes and it’s not going to get a lot of wear. Maybe once a year – for St. Patrick’s Day.
