The Look: I do like the way it looks. The flat, rope look cabling has a certain aesthetic that’s very appealing. Add in an interesting design across the top of the foot and it’s a pretty sandal. Unfortunately, adding the foot turns this around a bit. The main problem actually shows up in careful consideration of the picture to the left. There’s more room at the toe in the left shoe than the right. As well, the cross over on the little toe side has a bitter gap in the left shoe. This corresponds to the left shoe easily showing four toes and the little toe cupped in the two crossing straps. The right shoe, however, only shows three toes easily and the little toe is pretty much behind the crossing straps and can even slip outside. Perhaps this is more a fitting issue, but it also affects the look.
The Fit: See above for some fitting issues. This is a 6.5 and doesn’t have any width problems on my foot so it should fit pretty much perfectly. Ignoring the issues with the difference between the right and left shoe, there isn’t any other problem with how it fits.
Comfort: It isn’t uncomfortable to wear, even with the right side fitting issue. Like most wedges the heel isn’t too high for all day, even with walking and standing.
