The Look: My feet are small enough that it takes quite an interesting shoe to make them look big. Of course, it’s still relative, but looking down when wearing this shoe and I don’t see small feet. It’s got an awesome 5 inch heel countered by only a 1 inch platform, so most of the height is real. The overhand knot over the toes and again across the front of the ankle, one right hand and the other left, gives the shoe a very interesting look, the zipper in the heel cup the only fastener.
The Fit: A half-size up gives a bit of extra room in the heel and at the toe, which probably helps in making the foot look bigger. The width is close to perfect, no binding or snugness anywhere.
Comfort: If not for the height of the heel, this would be an anywhere, potentially all day, shoe. Then there’s the heel. The height is just not comfortable for long-term wear or extensive walking or standing. Dinner date and/or a movie or show would be my preference for wearing this shoe.
