I’m changing the format a little, starting off with a paragraph that has history or something I want to say that isn’t related to the various points I usually address about a pair of shoes. With this pair, I deliberately went looking for a pair of shoes that was Fuchsia. My favorite online shoe source allows filtering by color and has a separate listing for pink.
The Look: A very pretty shoe with most of the style points I appreciate most. I really like the pump-like heel cup and the ankle strap. The bridge on the toe box with the studded rhinestones is also nice. But surely nothing can beat the color. The dark, intense pink makes my nail polish seem dull.
The Fit: Half-size up, of course, but a pretty nice fit anyway. A bit extra at the toe and the heel cup might be a little loose, but the width is perfect and there’s room under the bridge for all the toes.
Comfort: A half inch platform and a 4 inch heel makes it a little bit high for all day comfort if there is much walking. But it’s too pretty for all day anyway – this is an evening or event shoe and it’s comfy enough for dancing, at least for awhile.
