The Look: Black with silvery rhinestones along an interesting design across the top of the foot makes for a charming appearance. I always like the pleated fabric over the toes and the slingback straps give the heel some visibility. Even without a foot in it, the black and silver make a lovely contrast.
The Fit: Even with a half size up there’s a minor fit problem. The straps up the side of the foot, the forward side straps, are a little tight, actually making an indent on the outside of the foot. Does this shoe make my feet look fat? The answer is ‘yes’ if looking from the outer side.
Comfort: As always with a fitting problem, it affects how comfortable the shoe is and this is no exception. It’s not a major thing, but it does feel like it binds. The heel height will also affect long periods of wear and walking or standing. I’ve also notices that stiletto heels with slingback straps makes a more precarious balance requiring a bit more care in walking.
