From my last 3 posts, you’d think all my shoes were black. I’m sure it’s just co-incidence because I know the method I’m using to pick the next shoe to review. Until I’m caught up it isn’t going to be based on the date of purchase and that’s still about 20 pairs away.
The Look: This shoe has a very interesting look, with dozens of little tiles lining the straps across the toes and instep. Like most multi-strap sandals, only four toes extend beyond that final straps at the front of the shoe. The insole at the toe, and the sides of the shoe and the heel are all glittery, adding to the shine factor of the tiles. Slingback straps and a stiletto only add to the visual component.
The Fit: Average fit for a half-size up in length. The straps on the toe box, however, are tighter than they should be and upon close inspection this can be seen digging into the skin. Either it should be just a bit wider or maybe my foot and toes are just thicker than the foot the designers had in mind.
Comfort: Reading the fitting point of this post, you would expect an uncomfortable shoe. While it’s going to leave significant marks where the straps crossed, the shoe doesn’t really have a comfort issue from it. The heels are high for walking and standing long periods.
