The Look: This shoe is quite diverse from my normal tastes. While still technically still a sandal, the number and proximity of the straps results in very little of the foot showing. I like the design on the top, reminiscent of Native American bead work. Also, the picture to the side being flipped from the usual toe down view is intentional – I like the way the design looks better from my view.
The Fit: The usual problem with getting a half size up, it’s a little bit long. With this shoe that means only on the toe side as the encasing straps don’t allow any slide downward and presses the heel all the way to the back. It’s probably also supposed to show more of the toes and obscuring my little one is likely the result of having a smaller foot.
Comfort: If it wasn’t for the heel. The height is the only thing I really noticed as I was wearing them. There is still the feeling of being encased in black leather, but it wasn’t uncomfortable until I stood up and tried walking. Even then, it’s only the height that is the problem.
