The Look: Obviously, the first thing to note is the color. The light, or the dark red background, or a combination of the two have made this shoe to be lighter and pinker than it actually is. This is a bright firehouse red. And it has too many straps. Still, I kind of like the interwoven, crisscross up the instep to the ankle. The stiletto heel, 4.5 inches with almost no platform, adds to the sexiness.
The Fit: This shoe I could really wish had a wider option on the proper size. A high instep (to go with my high arch) limits how far down into the shoe that I can press my foot and it leaves too much shoe beyond the toe – rather than balancing it with a little extra at the heel as well. There is no chance at all to get the little toe through the final toe strap leaving only four toes in view.
Comfort: Except for the heel height, there isn’t a lot that makes this shoe uncomfortable. It might be a little tight around the little toe, more noticeable while walking. But you wouldn’t want to choose this shoe for long periods of walking or standing simply because of the heel height.
