The Look: The wide band above the ankle makes this shoe unique in my collection. It’s also the tallest shoe I own that isn’t properly a boot. I love the grey suede and the narrow band across the toes. Barely a platform makes that 5 inch stiletto an amazing height and beautiful to look at.
The Fit: One of several shoes that make my toes feel fat. A half-size up, it’s also got extra at the toe and in the heel cup. The width is fine, but that toe strap is very tight even after 3 stretching treatments in the freezer.
Comfort: There are a few points which gives this shoe a very low score in comfort. The narrow strap at the toe doesn’t need to be tight (I’ve mentioned this in other reviews) to be uncomfortable. The above the ankle band doesn’t hold the foot securely at the heel, which can lift during walking adding to the discomfort and then there is the 5 inch heel. That might not be a big influence on sizes 9 and above, but for smaller feet like mine, it’s a lot.
