The Look: Animal print on a shoe. If it hadn’t been on sale, a really good sale, I probably wouldn’t have gone for it. I’m well past the phase when I wore a lot of animal print clothes, which means I don’t have much that will go with animal print shoes. But they are attractive, I think, and I like the diagonal strap across the top of the foot. Like most wedge heels, it’s pretty low – 3 inch with a 1 inch platform and that affects how nice it looks, but still, all in all, pretty nice.
The Fit: Half size up shows, which is a problem. The elastic front to the ankle straps pulls the foot to the back, which puts far too much of the shoe in front of the toes.
Comfort: The strap across the toes might be a little snug when I press my foot as deep as I can into it in order to limit how much shoe is in front of my toes, but other than that, it isn’t uncomfortable. The wedge advantage makes it a good shoe for all day.
