The Look: With someone who has as many shoes as I do, sometimes you just look for something different. Samara qualifies without doubt. If you ever wanted a shoe covered in multi-colored glitter, here it is. Silver platform and 4.5 inch heel, then the glitter begins. Heel cup, toe straps, T-bar and even most of the buckle strap are glitter covered. Unless you have a long little toe, you might see it peeking out the side behind the forward curved strap.
The Fit: For a half-size up, there is very little extra room at the toe, which makes the problem mentioned above a bit odd. The centerpiece, from which the others depend, should have been set back a bit further so that the little toe, no matter how small, could be captured under it and if long might actually peek out the front. The heel cup is where the extra space is on this shoe.
Comfort: All the glitter is on the outside, but it doesn’t feel that way. The looseness of the heel cup also affect how comfortable the shoe is. The platform, however, makes the heel height a non-issue. Other than that, there is only the potential for little toe escapes, which is not a comfortable feeling at all.
