The Look: The collection of crisscrossing straps over the top of the foot make this an interesting looking shoe. The lack of a substantial heel is all the prevents this from being pretty enough for dates. As well, the heel is a wedge which relegates it to the more casual situations usage.
The Fit: You’d think Sketchers would come in a wider width, but this is a half-size up. The fit isn’t bad and it shows less because it’s a slide and not a regular sandal. Still a bit of shoe both front and back, within acceptable limits.
Comfort: This shoe has memory foam. Enough said. If you’re at all familiar with the increasingly comfortable walking/athletic shoe, you’ve probably already tried/owned a pair of memory foam shoes. This pair was my first that could qualify for a review (I don’t review flats/walking/athletic shoes.) Walking in these shoes can actually be a turn on. That’s how my feet react to memory foam.
