The Look: This is the first pair of wedges I’ve reviewed and most wedge heels don’t have the sheer beauty you find in shoes with stiletto heels. Where they shine is stability, making them an obvious choice for days when you’ve got a lot of walking to do. This pair has a nice platform and a higher than average heel for wedges. But what really sets it apart is the print fabric used on the insole. Black straps with a cork platform give it a nice look when worn, but take them off and you can’t help but look at the insole. This is also an older pair so I doubt it’s available anymore.
The Fit: Like usual, the B width will require wider feet to half-size upward, but the fit isn’t bad. With this pair, there might be a flash of flowery color at the back of the heel, but the flowers don’t extend all the way to the toes.
Comfort: I’ve worn these all day so I know they’re comfortable enough for that. Women who normally wear flats and normal wedges all the time might have issue with the height of the heel. It’s a bit disconcerting at first to have this much when you know it’s a wedge.
